Purpose Awareness 2018
Nyesha Lockett, founder of Esteem, was asked by Antonia G M Lightbourne, founder of Purpose Awareness, to join the 2018 Purpose Awareness Campaign and here's what she had to say:
Discovering my purpose has been an eventful and adventurous journey, but I've learned that the journey itself is loaded with treasure. You see, there are pieces of life that lend themselves to you along the way, in that there are continued lessons being taught and if we would glean from those that have gone before us and the experiences that surround us, then like Ruth, when she stumbled into Boaz, which ultimately led to her life's purpose, we too, can take those scattered pieces and create a picture perfect puzzle, so that the journey that seemed it made no sense, becomes a work of art.
As for me, my journey is still under way. But one thing I do know, is that I am compelled to share with other women, the lessons that I've learned in life...and that's how to overcome by God's grace. Out of this passion, my Esteem Women's Organization was born and women everywhere are impacted in a tremendous way.
That said, I am truly honored to be a part of this movement because purpose matters!
